i really appreciate ur wrk n knowledge behind dis blog..i wd request cum up wid a practical flowchart wid as many indicators (macd, adx, rsi, bollinger, parabolic SAR, double avg etc alog wid price/volume action) to help traders 2 take pure decisions!! also if u cn suggest various indicators 2b used on which all time charts like 5 minute, 1 hr, 1 day, 1 week, 1 mnth, 6 mnths, 1 year etc.. thks a ton in advance n luking fwd to u!!! rv2810@gmail.com
If you have observes I generally use a three EMA(20/50/200) overlay on price and RSI 14 and MACD 12/26/9...
These had held me good so far so never felt the need of using many others available...
Would suggest you pick with whatever you are comfy with and stick to them!
Softwares are aplenty in the market some paid some free..all these are secondary part...your primary is to learn TA and intelligently interpret the signals using that knowledge!
hi well u have helped me partially!!! theoretical is one aspect which i hav completely long back..wanted some practical experience!! see ur HELP wud help the trader community!! which settings for parabolic SAR, bollinger bands, stochastic, adx? also, on which time charts all these parameters be used to generate the best signals? wud insist if you can list the free and paid softwares/terminals/systems which are authentic and give gud results? btw which one u use??
Trading is nothing short of speculation and people who treat it as intelligent speculation have a fair chance of doing well. The posts in this blog are nothing but notes I am making for myself. I welcome serious discussion on TA from like minded people and willing to share whatever little knowledge I have of TA. Nothing on this site should ever be interpreted as advice, research or an invitation to buy or sell any securities.

Rajib Hi
ReplyDeleteThanks...Will try and post a few charts on white background....but its the Black that I love...
So i guess black stays..interspersed with White...!
Cheers!!
Even I love black background
ReplyDeleteYeah, Reliance hangs there precariously. Volumes too is moving below its average. It needs to pick up substantially for the stock to surge ahead.
ReplyDeleteNot a problem ... you must do what you love ...
ReplyDeleteI will make a negative of your post (I mean the picture only!) ... :P

ReplyDeleteAgain repeating the same thing I am using what I mentioned earlier in theory as well as in practice!
Wont comment on SAR, bollinger bands etc coz I dont use them much!
Secondly I use the same parameters in all my time frames that is the hourly, daily and weekly!
Not much of an intraday player so wont comment on lower timeframes...
List of softwares you need google em and you will get them...as for what I use are metastock, spider ace and icharts!
Cheers !
